 * This package will overwrite one or more files that may belong to other
 * packages (see list below). You can use a command such as `portageq
 * owners / <filename>` to identify the installed package that owns a
 * file. If portageq reports that only one package owns a file then do
 * NOT file a bug report. A bug report is only useful if it identifies at
 * least two or more packages that are known to install the same file(s).
 * If a collision occurs and you can not explain where the file came from
 * then you should simply ignore the collision since there is not enough
 * information to determine if a real problem exists. Please do NOT file
 * a bug report at http://bugs.gentoo.org unless you report exactly which
 * two packages install the same file(s). See
 * http://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Knowledge_Base:Blockers for tips on how to
 * solve the problem. And once again, please do NOT file a bug report
 * unless you have completely understood the above message.

Comment 1 Sergey Popov gentoo-dev 2014-08-12 17:28:48 UTC
it seems that app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-cpplibs contains only 32-bit versions of dev-libs/boost and dev-libs/libsigc++. The only consumer of app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-cpplibs in tree that i have found is app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-gtkmmlibs

I propose to migrate dev-libs/libsigc++ to multilib eclasses and get rid of app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-cpplibs entirely

@gnome-mm, as maintainer of dev-libs/libsigc++, what's your opinion?

+ Revision bump: add multilib-aware version due to collision with
+ multilib-aware dev-libs/boost ebuilds, bug #519744. Permission is granted by

+ 14 Aug 2014; Sergey Popov <pinkbyte@gentoo.org> boost-1.55.0-r2.ebuild:
+ Add proper blocker for app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-cpplibs, wrt bug #519744,

Ok, issue should been fixed for now. However i would like to continue to work on emul-linux-cpplibs migration in this bug
