New version of egroupware has been released recently. Can it be added to the portage tree? http://www.egroupware.org/products-and-prices/egroupware-community-edition.html Reproducible: Always
There are a few additional dependencies from pear.horde.org which are not yet in the tree: pear.horde.org/Horde_Stream_Filter-2.0.2 pear.horde.org/Horde_Translation-2.1.0 pear.horde.org/Horde_Util-2.4.0 pear.horde.org/Horde_Stream_Wrapper-2.1.0 pear.horde.org/Horde_Exception-2.0.4 pear.horde.org/Horde_Text_Flowed-2.0.1 pear.horde.org/Horde_Socket_Client-1.1.2 pear.horde.org/Horde_Stream-1.6.1 pear.horde.org/Horde_Support-2.1.1 pear.horde.org/Horde_Mime-2.4.3 pear.horde.org/Horde_Crypt_Blowfish-1.0.2 pear.horde.org/Horde_Mail-2.3.0 pear.horde.org/Horde_Secret-2.0.3 pear.horde.org/Horde_Imap_Client-2.23.2
it would be really cool to get the upgrade into portage if possible. is this update a lot of work or is it easy ? - unfortunately i do not know much about www-apps stuff in portage, but i suppose i could maybe help out with some of the deps if needed.
I've tried creating the ebuilds for the pear.horde.org stuff, but I can't get it to the point where the egroupware install page sees them. "pear" also keeps saying they're not installed. Unfortunately, I have not been able to get a response from a developer with knowledge of the pear-packages or from the www-apps team for any egroupware version.
New 14.2 RC release notes mentions pear-dependencies are no longer required. This might make creating an ebuild simpler (pear-dependencies can be ignored) Watch this space.
