Description Alan Hourihane 2014-06-25 16:20:51 UTC
On FreeMiNT our EPREFIX is set to /, which means the test for sanity tests succeed and tries to execute them.

But it fails because we used to "doexe" over the tests, but this is no longer done and runTests fails as it's not executable.

 * Running preinst sanity tests...
/j/var/tmp/portage/sys-apps/portage-2.2.10.1/temp/environment: line 1960: /j/var/tmp/portage/sys-apps/portage-2.2.10.1/image/usr/lib/portage/pym/portage/tests/runTests: Permission denied
 * ERROR: sys-apps/portage-2.2.10.1::gentoo_prefix failed (preinst phase):
 *   preinst sanity tests failed

1. I'm not sure why ROOT == / is being tested for this test to run.

2. If it should be run, why aren't we doing "doexe" again ?
