The rxvt built by rxvt-2.7.8-r4.ebuild does not support
multiple-character fonts such as Chinese, and Korean ...

Suggestion:
Add the following options to ${myconf} for "./configure ..."
--enable-languages     # add support for multi-char font-set
--enable-xim           # xim: imput method for multi-byte charsets

rxvt-2.7.8-r5.ebuild added to CVS and masked for testing.

Please test the new ebuild and let me know if you havve any problems

rxvt-2.7.8-r5.ebuild supports "-fm -km" now and it draws  
the Chinese characters correctly. Here is the screenshot:
