Description Christopher Head 2014-04-06 05:00:16 UTC
Compiling net-wireless/wpa_supplicant with the gnutls and readline USE flags enabled, and all others disabled, with dev-libs/libgcrypt not installed, fails with this:

../src/crypto/crypto_gnutls.c:10:20: fatal error: gcrypt.h: No such file or directory

This is a possible configuration because although net-wireless/wpa_supplicant depends on net-libs/gnutls, the latter does *not* strictly depend on dev-libs/libgcrypt any more—it can be built against dev-libs/nettle instead, in which case libgcrypt can be uninstalled.

Reproducible: Always

Hey, just wondering if this bug has fallen through the cracks? It looks like some releases of wpa_supplicant have happened since I filed, but they still don’t depend on libgcrypt.

This has been fixed in 2.5-r1, thanks for reporting, and sorry for the delay.
