Oh boy, this looks a GNOME / systemd related bug; which version of the GNOME desktop and systemd are you using? Did you recently upgrade one of both? You can check `journalctl -rb` (current boot, newest at top) or `journalctl -r` (all boots, newest at top) to see if you can see this happening in other places; if that's the case we need to reassign this bug to the GNOME or systemd team. Thank you for filing this, this bug has been assigned to the maintainer of mpv.
What package contains /usr/libexec/pxgsettings? Can you find why and what executes it? grep does not find it in mpv sources, most likely the bug is not in mpv. Do you use some proxy for anything? Are any proxy related settings added to some bashrc or other config file?
https://code.google.com/p/libproxy/source/browse/trunk/libproxy/modules/pxgsettings.cpp#2 "pxgsettings - A helper binary to query gsettings" It is installed only when libproxy is compiled with USE gnome enabled. Possibly the bug is related to gnome-3.8 -> 3.10 upgrade.
OK I got it... Problem was compiling mpv in a Gnome-Terminal. I recently got that problem with several other packages and remembered. Compiling mpv with framebuffer console worked.
Additional Comment: I did not upgrade to any Gnome-3.10 Package. I masked everything regarding to gnome 3.10.
But still some kind of problem is still present (not sure if avoidable by trying to use virtualx eclass more). Only mpv is affected by this? :/
There were several other packages affected. It was weeks ago so I have to check my old elogs later @ home.
Sorry Pacho, but my elogs are already cleared up of those error logs. Only thing to find those packages is to "emerge -e world" Will try that tomorrow
Reopen if bug still happens.
