Created attachment 356486 [details] udev rules these udev rules solved the problem for me. instead, /lib64/udev/rules.d/80-udisks2.rules is not working for me.

These rules are provided by sys-fs/udisks, so adding package maintainer for more info.

He just said plain UDisks2 (from commandline, using `udisksctl`) works fine in Comment #0 and the problem only manifests itself in KDE I'm not familiar with KDE nor I'm going to install one just to test this bug, sorry
Just by googling around 'property Device does not exist' or 'property DeviceNumber does not exist' reveal them all to be user specific configuration problems, like eg. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=315065 Some have had improper device-mapper config files, some have had .iso "dd"ed to the disk and then emptied and using it without properly formatting it, and so forth Anyways, KDE forums or such is propably more proper place than the gentoo bugzilla...
Closing then.
