looks like they messed up the wiki on their server
the website is now more than 2 years offline. Should we link to SF? http://sourceforge.net/projects/xbox-linux/ The xbox was discontinued nearly 10 years ago[1], is it likely, that anybody still uses this ebuild, or should it be treecleaned? [1] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_%28console%29
(In reply to SpanKY from comment #2) > looks like they messed up the wiki on their server My guess is that the wiki is down because it seem shosted on SourceForge which was/is recovering from mayor infra issues a few days ago. # wget -O/dev/null http://xbox-linux.sourceforge.net/ 2>&1 | fgrep Location Location: http://www.xbox-linux.org/wiki/Main_Page [following] (In reply to Jonas Stein from comment #3) > the website is now more than 2 years offline. > Should we link to SF? > > http://sourceforge.net/projects/xbox-linux/ > > The xbox was discontinued nearly 10 years ago[1], is it likely, that anybody > still uses this ebuild, or should it be treecleaned? > > [1] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_%28console%29 No objections to any of that from my side.
(In reply to Jonas Stein from comment #3) a dead HOMEPAGE is not grounds for tree cleaning, nor is the vintage of the hardware. you can find plenty of older things in the tree (Alpha was halted even longer ago). if the package still works, then it generally stays in.
