Hi, I just created an ebuild for the lost labyrinth game. A roguelike game with "zelda-style" graphics. The game itself is available as x86 binary only and isn't too stable at the moment unforunately. Still it makes alot of fun if it doesn't crash ;-)
Created attachment 28503 [details] ebuild
Created attachment 28504 [details] startup script, should be placed in files dir of the ebuild
Hmmmm, the sourceforge page claims that it's under the GPL. If that's the case, there should be source available. A build from source would be preferable.
...And I downloaded the game and dispite the fact that you can select english from the main menu, the in-game text seems to be only in german. I'm going to close this bug as LATER. If people want to play with this game they can grab the ebuild and script here and put them in their local overlays. It's not ready for portage quite yet.
Yes the source is available, but it's coded in blitzbasic so you need to buy a compiler to compile it yourself. I'll send a mail to the author of the game about the text and crash issues.
Uploaded a new version of my game to the sourceforge website (0.9.1) I tested the english version a bit and it seems most of the textoutput is in english now. The game didn't crash when I was playing it for a while now... But I fear thats always the case when you test your own game :-) So I am really interested about the exact constellation that caused an error.
