glibmm is a set of C++ bindings for glib, including cross- platform APIs such as a std::string-like UTF8 string class, string utility methods, such as a text encoding converter API, file access, and threads. With new, 2.4 branch, glibmm is no longer part of gtkmm package and needs to be installed separately. This ebuild provides that. See attached ebuild. I suggest classification dev-cpp/glibmm.
Created attachment 28027 [details] An ebuild file for glibmm-2.3.7 package
This glibmm is needed to compile gtkmm, I'm adding a bug block. libsigc++ is needed to compile glibmm, so i'm adding a bug dependency. Also, I mis-pasted URL into Summary field when submitting this critter, fixing now.
gconfmm-2.0.1 do not like glibmm-2.4 checking for glibmm-2.0 >= 2.0.1 gconf-2.0 >= 1.1.8... Package glibmm-2.0 was not found in the pkg-config search path. Perhaps you should add the directory containing `glibmm-2.0.pc' to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable No package 'glibmm-2.0' found do you have any newer gconfmm ebuilds? =)
this is a devel release.
2.4 got added
