As the subject says, i want to get a mplayer with included DVD read support. 
libdvdread and libdvdcss are successfull emerged but mplayer does not find them 
when configuring (also a manual configure with specifing --with-includes path 
did not work). Mplayer is otherwise also successfull emerge 
 
So i can not play DVDs :(

is "dvd" in your USE settings in /etc/make.conf?

Sorry for my late anwser. Was some days in holiday ...  The missing USE="dvd" was the problem ...  Thank you very much.
