1.6.8 is in portage, I have to think about changing the useflag but is feasible.

Could you please test it on x86 and tell me if works ok for you?

Looks perfect on x86, Luca.

I'm asking for the use flag change, because I worked on the qtparted ebuild (it needs >=parted-1.6.7 for label support) to make jfs, xfs and reiserfs optional. Using noxfs, nojfs, noreiserfs sounds a bit whacky, a local xfs use flag already exists (gentoo-sources) and I think it's best when these flags are bit consistent between different ebuilds. Last but not least, mixing the denotation use flags (positive/negative) may confuse users. Imho enabled use flags should always enrich the functionality, not the other way around.

marked as closed, the noreiserfs is ok since the expected behaviour is having support for every fs, noreiserfs removed a maybe unneeded feature.

>since the expected behaviour is having support for every fs

Always thought Gentoo is about having only installed what you want/need and not everything (or every fs) out of the box. I'm not fine with this. :( I want to enable stuff, not always being forced to disable. Excuse my sarcasm, but what about nokde, nognome, ... then?!
