portage preffer to use live ebuild than masked one so package.umask.gnome3 need to have some package in it .
you can take a look at http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/teams/releng/3.6.0/versions
the packages i found was
1.at-spi2-core-2.6.0 
2.gobject-introspection:1.34.0
3.glib:2.34.0
4.gjs:1.34.0
5.gtk+:3.6.0
6.dconf:0.13.90
and maybe more

You are right - but all these changes were already added 7 days ago...
