Impossible to get better than depth 8 in XF86Config

Reproducible: Always

Expected Results:  
Display with depth 24

Please attach /var/log/XFree86.0.log, /etc/X11/XF86Config and `/sbin/lspci -vv > lspci.txt` as plain-text attachments.

Have you ever been able to get higher than 8-bit depth using Linux?
