I had a bug to report, so I went looking for similar bug reports, with no results. So I submitted bug #41783 (http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=41783). Almost immediately, I received a "duplicate bug" email, pointing at bug #41569 (http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=41569). The summary of the bug report is "kdelibs-3.2.0 fails to emerge, complains about moved libqt-mt.la" Certain that I had done a decent search for duplicates before I posted the bug, I went back and looked for bug 41569. Zaroo bugs found. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Try a search with the terms "kdelibs libqt-mt.la". It will return zero results. Try it with just libqt-mt.la. That'll fail, too. Both terms are in the summary of bug #41569.
broken? i'm going to move this to WORKSFORME, at the main page it says please enter ALL followed by some terms... so I did ALL kdelibs and your bug showed up...
Try it. Go submit a bug. Nowhere on the "search for your bug" page does it say anything about "ALL". Anywhere. "Step 1 - search for your bug You need to see if your bug has already been reported. Please don't skip this step. 50% of the bugs filed in Bugzilla are duplicates, and this wastes a lot of our QA engineers' time. Check the list of most-frequently-reported bugs below. If your bug isn't there, search Bugzilla by entering two or three of the main words having to do with your bug in this box. For example: pop3 mail or copy paste. " Notice that last line, where it says "For example: pop3 mail or copy paste".
sorry about that, updated that page =)
Thanks.
