Description Matthew Schultz 2012-02-18 22:30:35 UTC
Apparently due to an invalid conversion, this is stopping swig based packages with php support in supporting php 5.4. It appears upstream has already fixed this bug but it needs to be patched as of =dev-lang/swig-2.0.4-r1.

Reproducible: Always

swig-2.0.4-invalid_conversion.patch

This is an upstream patch. Swig 2.0.4 builds with this patch and I tested it with a package that uses swig php and it appears to work.

This appears to be fixed in >= swig 2.0.8. Is swig 2.0.4-r1 still going to be patched though since it's still in the tree?

we have the fixed versions stabilized already
