If I try to start zinf as a normal user from command line it says "Cannot create a temporary directory to unzip theme". If I start it as root there is no problem.
It's working for me. Is a /usr/tmp, /tmp, or /var/tmp directory dead-only? try doing 'touch /tmp/test && touch /usr/tmp/test && touch /var/tmp/test' Remove those files too...
I do not have a /usr/tmp by default. Should there be one?
Whoa... yes, you should. I wonder how it got deleted. As root, run: $ mkdir /usr/tmp $ chmod 1777 /usr/tmp Now, try running zinf zs a normal user.
closing... User was just missing /usr/tmp
