I did emerge rsync about 10 mins ago, so everything's update to date.
I downloaded the Sun-J2ee from http://java.sun.com/j2ee/download.html#sdk

The version I got was 1.3.1

Next, I did a "emerge sun-j2ee" and I got

Version bump to 1.3.1 from 1.3 ebuild and corrected ebuild

Updated ebuild & ChangeLog. Verified with lintool. Extract to
/usr/portage/dev-java/sun-j2ee/. Bug reporter confirms fix works.
