Description Mikael Hallendal (hallski) (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-01-04 22:33:20 UTC
I tried to install webconfig this afternoon and it resulted in an error.

checking for rpath... yes
checking for KDE... configure: error:
in the prefix, you've chosen, are no KDE headers installed. This will fail.
So, check this please and use another prefix!

!!! ERROR: the ./configure command did not complete successfully.
!!! ("./configure")
!!! Since this is a critical task, ebuild will be stopped.

!!! emerge aborting on /usr/portage/app-admin/webconfig/webconfig-0.5.ebuild
.

Resolved. I have a problem getting webconfig to compile (configures OK) in any version, incl. outside portage. So I'm gonna leave it as-is for now (webconfig's in package.mask anyway) and see if I can fix it later (i.e. once the new multi-kdedirs stuff is operational).
Comment 2 Mikael Hallendal (hallski) (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-01-05 03:26:50 UTC
it shouldn't be in Ebuilds, only newly commited ebuilds should be in ebuilds,
then I move them to the correct other component.

I'm tired of webconfig. AFAIK no one wants to use it, I don't myself either anymore. It's been broken
for 5 months now and it can stay that way for all i care. I've removed the ebuild from cvs.
