Description Michael Weichert 2002-06-12 10:01:03 UTC
Hi,

I've just installed Gentoo 1.2 from stage1. I merged the latest GNOME 2 of date
(6/11/02) without GNOME 1.4 installed, and had one problem: gnomemm wouldn't
compile...it said that libsigc++ was missing (meanwhile, I had the latest
version installed). To get around this, I just 'injected' the package.

fixing this and gtkmm bugs right now.

some more info perhaps :)
libsigc++-1.0.x is incompatible with 1.1.x
so when gtkmm depended on libsigc++ it required "any " version, and not a
specific range.

this is now fixed, and after that gnomemm is updated to match the gtkmm version.
