I recently installed x11-misc/rss-glx to see the Linux port of Drempels in action.  Since then one time the display froze when xscreensaver/rss-glx/Drempels was running and when I just got home from I noticed that X had dropped me to a login window while a saver was running when I left.

My combiniation of packages is:

  x11-misc/rss-glx 0.9.1
  x11-misc/xscreensaver 5.12-r1
  x11-base/xorg-server 1.10.1
