Hi! There is a new version of BillardGL out. It fixes some major bugs when the white ball was played against the wall and has plenty of new textures. It also contains now as third language: spanish. Note: The installation process has changed. The laguage packs are now extracted in their own directory, so I will add the updated ebuild with this.

I get a segfault when I try and run the new version... Not sure what is wrong with it. Geforce 2 video card and nvidia GL drivers.... tested with xfree GL drivers also.
I got once a segfault when the language packs were missing. I'd check that all files are in place, but I'm pretty sure that the script is working correctly (had this tested on at least 7 different PCs). Also try to start BillardGL with a lower texture modus (they have been strong increased). Some options are: BillardGL -t 8 -at 2 -tt 0 -g 3 I explain the options: -t stands for the ball texture size: 1 is 256x256 and 8 is 32x32 -tt is the table texture size: 1=Full, 8 = 1/8 and 0 = off -at is the display textures 1=Full, 8 = 1/8 -g is Level of Detail. Mus be at least 3 but is gigher in default.
Hello... so, let me make some asks please... 1- If the package is working, why it it is not on the official portage list? 2- Did you see the foobillard project... It IS really good as BillardGL. So, if you wanna see it, go to my bug: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3718 3- Did opengl-update doesn't fix the comment n# 3 ??? Thanx and have a NIVE work!!! Bernardo Silva P.S.: My ebuild and your ebuild works perfectly on 3 PCs I had tested...

Your committed release is broken! Now I know why you get a segfault. As I mentioned above, the installation process has changed! Replace cp *.lang with cp -R lang and the installation works. See my attached ebuild for more details.
should be working in the new -r1 ebuild
