pidgin-libnotify didn't have any recent release or commit so I developed a non-real-fork with more options: Pidgin-Libnotify+. I packaged it in my overlay to properly test it, and I think it can be included in tree. I can maintain the ebuild too if it's needed.
This is a fork instead of a version bump, should be treated as a new package.
