Description Tomás Touceda (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2011-03-25 03:00:06 UTC
Migrated from mozilla's bugzilla ( https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=644439 ):

This sounds pretty funny, but it happened several times trying to download
Adobe Flex from this link:

http://opensource.adobe.com/wiki/display/flexsdk/download?build=4.5.0.17689&pkgtype=1

I have Firefox 4.0, on Gentoo Linux x86, with the following addons: TorButton,
Firebug, AdBlock.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the link provided and wait

I've tested this in safe-mode, in which it just closes without "Segmentation fault" message, and with a fresh profile (i.e. with no add-ons) and it gives this nice dump: http://pastebin.com/gbx4HbRR

This was reported upstream, but it seems to be related to the patchset applied.

Your emerge --info is missing please provide it along with a backtrace attached to the bug report, using pastebins does not allow for future tracking of the problems in any open source software.
