It seems the function expand_stack from (mm.h (kernel sources)) needs three arguments, whereas it is used with two in the file mmu.c (from mol).
Try upgrading to the -r5 kernel release, there were some known problems with -r4. Mac On Linux just emerged ok for me with 2.4.19-r5
Just tried it with -r5 instead of -r4, but no succes either. The mm.h file is unchanged with respect to -r4. uname -a still reports me as running -r4 though (could this be due to a 'make oldconfig'?)
I would just like to confirm Lukas's bug report on an unrelated machine. I get the exact same symptoms on a brand-new installation, including the incorrect versioning of the kernel, and I used ``menuconfig''.
I am going to pass this one along to kainz, defintely a kernel problem as it emerged fine for me for -r3 (the first one was -r3 and not -r5 as I had said) and also emerges cleanly on non-gentoo sources (2.4.19-pre10-ben0).
ppc-sources-2.4.19-r6 is released, and is much cleaner.
