Shouldn't libcanberra only depends on the pulseaudio client library rather than on the entire server ? In my situation i don't want the server : my hardware doesn't have sound card, i will connect to a pulse server over the network. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. We do not have a separate libpulseaudio package, and currently don't have the maintainer bandwidth to split the pulseaudio package in this manner. If you need this and are willing to write ebuilds for it, I can help review.
