Upgrading from pgadmin3-1.10.0 fails with postgresql-server-8.2.17 installed. I can't upgrade my server because I have to use an application which depends on postgresql 8.2 and is not compatible with newer version, at least for now. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. install postgresql-server-8.2.17 2. emerge pgadmin3 3. Actual Results: emerge will fail

This bug is actually again dev-db/postgresql-base, not -server. The problem may be upstream and I'll ask them about it. In the meantime, you can emerge dev-db/postgresql-base-8.4.4-r2 and build pgadmin3 against that. P.S.: It does build against dev-db/postgresql-base-8.3.11-r1.
can you provide an build.log in English language? use LC_ALL="en_US.utf8" emerge pgadmin3-1.10.2

The summary is incorrect, still. The package is DEV-DB/pgadmin3-1.10.2, and it's failing against postgresql-BASE-8.2.17.
No longer in tree.
