Description Bardur Arantsson 2002-05-31 03:47:24 UTC
I've created an ebuild for the tsocks transparent SOCKS proxy library
(see http://tsocks.sourceforge.net for more information).

Nothing spectacular, but one note: The library is installed into /lib.
This is *intentional*, see the DOCS for more info.

Example configs are installed into /usr/share/doc/tsocks-<ver>/examples,
and the config file path is set to /etc/socks/tsocks.conf.

A tarball containing the ebuild and a digest file is attached.

Init script for tsocks

Please find the attatched tsocksify script. It adds the libtsocks.so library to
/etc/ld.so.preload to "wrap" all new starting processes with tsocks, enabling
their internet requests to be pushed through the specified socks proxy.
