Description Jens-Uwe Peter 2010-04-26 07:38:03 UTC
Please stabilize this version. The only bugs opened are for 2.18 (#297199) and one general python bug. Besides that, 2.19 is running on x86 and amd64 quite well.

Reproducible: Always
Comment 1 Lars Wendler (Polynomial-C) (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-04-26 09:40:32 UTC
STABLEREQ keyword should be set by the package maintainer when he thinks the package is ready for stabilization...
Comment 2 Sébastien Fabbro (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-05-04 17:12:57 UTC
OK, seems fine to me, let's stabilize. (Bug # 297199seems to be unreproducible).
Comment 3 Marcus D. Hanwell (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-05-16 20:23:15 UTC
It is definitely a great candidate for stabilization - I have used it without issues. Sorry about not commenting sooner - very busy in real life... I have used this package extensively on amd64 architecture.

buildlog with USE="-X"

On x86 it fails to build as soon as USE="-X" is set! This doesn't happen with the current stable version!

../libtool: line 4998: cd: NONE: No such file or directory
libtool: link: cannot determine absolute directory name of `NONE'
Comment 5 Jens-Uwe Peter 2010-06-18 20:39:30 UTC
Should gwyddion not depend on +X? Without GUI it seems pretty useless to me.

that's bug 297199, a fix is in bug 297199 comment 5
said comment also mentions several automagic deps, don't know if they're a regression
