Please stabilize this version. The only bugs opened are for 2.18 (#297199) and one general python bug. Besides that, 2.19 is running on x86 and amd64 quite well. Reproducible: Always
STABLEREQ keyword should be set by the package maintainer when he thinks the package is ready for stabilization...
OK, seems fine to me, let's stabilize. (Bug # 297199seems to be unreproducible).
It is definitely a great candidate for stabilization - I have used it without issues. Sorry about not commenting sooner - very busy in real life... I have used this package extensively on amd64 architecture.
Created attachment 232109 [details] buildlog with USE="-X" On x86 it fails to build as soon as USE="-X" is set! This doesn't happen with the current stable version! ../libtool: line 4998: cd: NONE: No such file or directory libtool: link: cannot determine absolute directory name of `NONE'
Should gwyddion not depend on +X? Without GUI it seems pretty useless to me.
(In reply to comment #4) > On x86 it fails to build as soon as USE="-X" is set! This doesn't happen with > the current stable version! that's bug 297199, a fix is in bug 297199 comment 5 said comment also mentions several automagic deps, don't know if they're a regression
Feel free to add us back when bug 297199 is solved. Thanks
No movement, we are out of here.
