Description Alexander Holler 2002-05-28 22:07:10 UTC
Hi, The summary says it all. If I have defined ENV_SUPATH in login.defs, I will get a configuration error (unknown item ENV_SUPATH) after login from any console.

Sure, but the login for util-linux we used, do not use /etc/login.defs at
all, and the one from shadow have security issues. The only way will be
if the author adds that support.

Btw, have a look at the login.defs that comes with pam-login ... it
uses ENV_ROOTPATH. This should solve your probem. Ill see if we can
get the author working to add support for all the variables that the
login from shadow support.

pam-login-3.6-r2 should fix this, sorry.
