1) New version available
2) Versions older than 3.13 ( all in tree version) have known security vulnerabilities and should not be used. See http://www.eyrie.org/~eagle/software/pam-krb5/security/2009-02-11.html

Please "bump" ebuild.
For example - my ebуild attached.

Attached is the pam_krb5-4.2 ebuild that works for me.  Changelog from Andreis' ebuild:

No eautoreconf.  Delete .la file which should not be necessary for a pam plugin.

4.2 is in tree, Eran you've been added as proxy maintainer for it ;)
