Hi. It's GUI (QT4) text editor with syntax highlight for TeX, LaTeX, ConTeXt. It also supports preview of compiled document via poppler and spell check via hunspell. I suggest app-editors category.

Created attachment 237497 [details] Update ebuild, creting menu entry This ebuild together with provided ebuil dplaced under files/TeXworks.desktop takes care of creating a menu entry. the desktop file is installed into /usr/share/applications and the png icon from the sourcs tarball is installed into /usr/share/pixmaps.

Based on the above ebuild I changed the SRC_URI, some sed commands in src_prepare() and added installation of man page and local manual. I've tested this on amd64 and it builds and installs fine.
