The sys-apps/file-5.03 don't compile when try to link libraries.

The first reported error is : "ld:.libs/magic.o: file format not recognized; treating as linker script"

The crash is present since release 5.0.

Reproducible: Always

First guess in such incomplete case is a parallel make/ccache problem.

Retry without -O3 and the see comment above. Reopen if the problem persists.

It was a corruption ccache files.

ccache -zcC && emerge -uDNv world

And all works
