Description Miguel Sousa Filipe 2002-05-19 17:33:31 UTC
two major comon lisp aplications are missing...
cmucl.. a high performance comon lisp ..
clisp - a very user friendly shell for comon lisp (when compaired to others)

this really lacks.. because any AI student needs this..and I even tryied doing a
ebuild for cmucl.. but it doesn't have a standard ./configure&& make && make
install procedure....has a matter of fact.. I couldn't understand how the hell
that is suposed to be compiled and installed..

so.. pleeeeaaase.. add this two ebuilds to portage!

We have an ebuild for clisp that will be committed real soon now. As for CMUCL,
it'll get there eventually. In the meantime, see you can't use SBCL, which is a
fork off CMUCL where they have spent a lot time cleaning it.

No CMUCL ebuilds have been forthcoming. Putting this one on ice.

We have a cmucl ebuild now, I'm closing this.
