As the summary says, the homepage url of media-sound/ogg2mp3 redirects to a non-existing server. I didn't find any information on the author's homepage. 

Also, he claims that he won't maintain ogg2mp3 :-(

Sound herd declines to play hide and seek with upstream maintainer.
As the developer who originally added this to the tree, let me quote a television network and say "It's had a good run". It can go.
Masking for removal in 30 days, will allow for appeals on gentoo-dev mailing list.

New maintainer has stepped up and created a homepage, which is described in metadata.xml; ebuild is in the tree. Thank you for uncovering the unmaintained state of this software.

Apparently this was only fixed in metadata.xml and not in the ebuilds, which is a pity. Apart from that, it seems that the upstream <maintainer> in metadata.xml isn't in fact a child of the <upstream> tag, which should probably be fixed too.

Unintentional, but yes, that is bad. However... do we have download URLs for the release tarballs anywhere? Clicked around for a fair bit and don't see any?
