Description Romain Perier (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-04-15 10:21:27 UTC
Hi,

As specified in the TODO, it was necessary to replace libcanberra automagic support by an optional support.

You'll find in attachment a git format-patch whichs normally solves the problem :
- updating configure.ac to Add a call to AC_ARG_ENABLE m4 macro
- updating ebuild to add USE flag canberra and including the patch
- updating the Manifest

mrpouet ;)

Reproducible: Always

although I'm not convinced we should keep libcanberra hard enabled, I did like dang did for gnome-control-center. Maybe I'll change everything to make it optionnal like it was in 2.24 before moving things to the tree.

I'm vaguely in favor of keeping it hard enabled; I'm willing to be convinced otherwise.

Automagic, of course, is evil.
