Description Matthew Kohn 2009-04-12 15:30:35 UTC
so i recently updated my system with the new verison of GCC and X1.5 I decided to also rebuild my entire system using the CFLAGS="-march=core2 -O2 -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer". Now mythtvfrontend constantly crashes when i try to access it on my desktop but if I run it from my laptop it runs fine.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Start mythbackend
2.start mythfrontend
3.go to either watch tv or recored programs

Actual Results:
myth front end crash if you are just in recored programs. mythbackend crashes if you are in watch tv

backtrace_for_mythfrontend_crashing

here is the backlog when the mythfrontend crashes. It said no back trace for the backend crashing. I have never done a back trace before so inform me if i did it wrong.
Comment 4 Doug Goldstein (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-06-13 07:40:32 UTC
Unfortunately there needed to be some more info in the backtrace. However, there are newer versions in Gentoo now so please go ahead and try those and if it doesn't fix the issue. Reopen the ticket.
