Another ibm-jdk problem for you... :) 

Using the ibm-jdk JRE as the mozilla browser plugin causes mozilla to lock up.
This setup used to work on my debian box, so it may be a gentoo-specific
problem, but I am not sure. I am building a debug version of mozilla to try and
find out what the heck is going on. I'll probably get around to it after finals
are over. 

A workaround is to simply use the blackdown-jre as the default user VM.

The IBM browser plugin has never worked for us. I am disabling it permanently
(or at least until somebody figures out how to fix it).
