cdemu-tray is a simple, lightweight GUI for controlling cdemud via a tray icon. Unlike gcdemu, it requires only GTK+ and the Glib D-Bus bindings and is appropriate for any desktop which offers a system tray. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:

Created attachment 185163 [details] cdemu-tray-0.1.ebuild Oops. Sorry about that. I've never had to make an ebuild for something without its own install script before.
it installs in / now... not what we want
add exeinto ${BASE}/usr/bin before doexe line
Created attachment 187293 [details] cdemu-tray-0.1.ebuild Sorry about that. I was overworked and rushed, so I didn't notice. Now, I'm slightly fatigued, but I've got enough free time to confirm that cdemu-tray went into /usr/bin and to notice that everything else seems to be fine.
Hello, The Gentoo Team would like to firstly thank you for your ebuild submission. We also apologize for not being able to accommodate you in a timely manner. There are simply too many new packages. Allow me to use this opportunity to introduce you to Gentoo Sunrise. The sunrise overlay[1] is a overlay for Gentoo which we allow trusted users to commit to and all users can have ebuilds reviewed by Gentoo devs for entry into the overlay. So, the sunrise team is suggesting that you look into this and submit your ebuild to the overlay where even *you* can commit to. =) Thanks, On behalf of the Gentoo Sunrise Team, Markos. According to http://sourceforge.net/projects/cdemu-tray/, cdemu-tray is no longer under active development, meaning that it will probably not work with future versions of cdemu. In addition, the ecological niche of this package has been taken over by app-cdr/gcdemu, which, starting with version 1.4.0, is also a lightweight GUI suitable for any desktop which offers a system tray. Everyone, thank you for contributing ebuilds, but IMHO, at this point adding cdemu-tray to portage would no longer be useful.
