I'm trying to emerge the firefox 3.0.5 and I can't compile xulrunner-1.9.0.5. I've verified everything I can think of. I was advised to open a bug ticket. Are you using stable or unstable X. > As far as I know, I haven't emerged anything related to x that is unstable. I'm not sure how to check though. I tried an emerge -p x11, and I got back a message that said all of the builds were masked by the ~x86 keyword. I do have some things in my package.keywords that might be of interest: net-wireless/wireless-tools ~x86 net-wireless/madwifi-ng ~x86 net-wireless/madwifi-ng-tools ~x86 sys-apps/baselayout ~x86 app-misc/jbidwatcher ~x86 dev-python/compizconfig-python x11-wm/compiz x11-wm/compiz-fusion x11-plugins/compiz-fusion-plugins-main x11-plugins/compiz-fusion-plugins-extra x11-plugins/compiz-fusion-plugins-unsupported x11-wm/emerald x11-themes/emerald-themes x11-apps/ccsm x11-libs/libcompizconfig x11-libs/compizconfig-backend-gconf x11-libs/compizconfig-backend-kconfig x11-libs/compiz-bcop sys-apps/openrc ~x86 media-video/vlc ~x86 media-video/ffmpeg ~x86 www-client/mozilla-firefox ~x86 dev-libs/nspr ~x86 dev-libs/nss ~x86 net-libs/xulrunner ~x86
could you paste the output of : emerge -1 `qlist -I -C x11-proto/` -pv and then remove the "-pv" to rebuild them all before rebuilding xulrunner? Thanks

Does rebuilding all those packages (remove the "-pv") help? Thanks
Unfortunately emerge -1 `qlist -I -C x11-proto/` did it at least not for me.
Ok, it was a hardware problem here. Xulrunner is compiling fine now.
Do what comment #6 says, please.
