Description Joe Millenbach 2003-07-25 02:01:43 UTC
There's an extra backslash at the end of the server name (before the folders
start).

It'd look similar to http://foo.com//folder/to/get/from/...

It errored when it tried to retrieve the file and went to ibiblio.org (which
worked). I'd downloaded my ISO that I started with from them...not sure if it
was somehow encoded on the CD to contact that address or what.

Portage, as in sys-apps/portage, or portage
as in 'emerge-webrsync' or is it some other
"portage" you're refering to?

What command did you use?
emerge -V (if relevent)
