Sorry, dont think I'll take this:
compiled with gcc 2.95.3,  -O2 -pipe  and it doesn't work on my system, somone
else please test this and commit if it works?

Spider: Can you please try out LostIRC 0.0.8 instead? Bug #2665.

If it crashes for you again, please compile with ./configure --enable-debug to
make -g be turned on (more descriptive gdb output).
