This is the ucview program from http://unicap-imaging.org/ucview.htm .

ucview comes pre-installed on the popular Asus Eee PC.
Now we have a Gentoo ebuild for it.

It should work with any v4l/v4l2/ieee1394 video capture device.

Depends on media-libs/unicap, an ebuild for which can be found here:

Matt, thanks for the ebuild submission. If no devs wants to adopt this package
right now, think about submitting it (and unicap) to sunrise

Version 0.31 is now in Sunrise:

It seems that this package is no longer in Sunrise.
