Description Ronald Hummelink 2003-07-14 00:52:39 UTC
Releases of the linux beta kernel will be rather frequent for quite a while, if
I want to keep a little up to date this and help out testing it will even on
broadband adsl mean a good 10 minute (32MB) download every single time from the
kernel master archives (since most of the time mirrors won't have caught up).
This is really not a good practice. Therefore the development sources should see
whether there is a somewhat recent full tree available in distfiles and download
incremental patches from there.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

Expected Results:
Ebuild should use incremental patches instead of downloading complete tarballs
every minor release
