Description Albert Zeyer 2008-10-23 18:43:41 UTC
In the options, I set up that FF should restore my last session when I start it. But this does not work, it always starts with my startpage.

Tried with a new profile?
Comment 4 Albert Zeyer 2008-11-26 14:27:55 UTC
It works with a clean profile.
Comment 5 Albert Zeyer 2008-11-26 14:33:20 UTC
Even if I disable all my add-ons in my profile, it does not work.
Comment 6 Raúl Porcel (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-11-27 09:29:30 UTC
Well, is it normal that from time to time the profile gets broken...if it works with a clean profile, i can't do nothing to fix that.

Hm, but surely there must be a bug somewhere in Firefox because this should never happen.

I also don't like to create a new profile and then just hope that everything works fine for a while.

I can perhaps set some breakpoints in Firefox in the "restore-session"-function to see if it gets called and where it does not work correctly. Do you know any good places for setting breakpoints?

No clue, but that kind of bugs are very old. And is not a Gentoo bug, although its not Mozilla's either since they will tell you to use their binaries :)
Comment 9 Jory A. Pratt gentoo-dev 2010-09-06 13:00:41 UTC
No info in over a year, update bug if you can still produce bug and reopen.
Comment 10 Albert Zeyer 2010-09-06 13:03:54 UTC
I am pretty sure the bug is still there but I am not using Firefox anymore. (Chrome is just better. :))

Maybe this should be reported upstream though. Or well, as you said (or implied), let's just ignore it.
