baselayout 2.0.0 outputs

which is incorrect as + as the username is the way to use other NSS services to gather password data.

Thanks for the information Andrew, could you please provide a little more detail to help us pin down where this is happening?

Could you please post the output of "emerge --info" so we can determine what architecture you're on and the versions of various installed programs?
What are the services starting before and after you see this message?
Can you please output the results of running "rc-status"?
