OpenGL.GLU.GLUerror: [Errno 100901] invalid value

People at Frets on Fire bug [1] also have this problem. I think bug 192019 describes the exact same problem, although it was marked as invalid. I think bug 170490 is also related to this issue. People from Frets on Fire bug have suggested to update media-libs/mesa, and that fixed the problem for at least one person [2].

My system is stable amd64, but I've emerged unstable dev-python/pyopengl-2.0.1.09-r1 anyway. Other than that, most (if not all) libraries are at their stable versions.
I have media-libs/mesa-6.5.2-r1 and dev-lang/python-2.5.2-r7

I would try updating to mesa-7, but there is at least one blocking package.

If this bug can be confirmed, my suggestions for fixing this bug are:
* Update (stabilize) pyopengl-2.0.1* (IIRC, older versions are somewhat buggy)
* Update (stabilize) mesa-7*

<troll> Oh, BTW, even Debian has mesa-7 marked as stable. ;) </troll>

Actually, sorry, I'm wrong about this. I should have checked before writing it. Sorry again.

Please post your `emerge --info' too, you troll!

Please test with dev-python/pyopengl-3.0.0.

dev-python/pyopengl-3.0.0 works (as well as 3.0.0_beta8) works for me (while 2.x versions didn't).
I guess the bug was somehow related to swig (maye bug in swig, maybe bug in pyopengl). Since 3.x versions use ctypes instead of swig, this bug disappeared.
