I'll submit a first draft soon :) Reproducible: Always
Created attachment 161260 [details] Draft First draft attached. It's in plain text 'cos I hadn't time to write it in XML. Enjoy:P Please don't blame me for my bad english :P
We already have a much more complete, detailed Gentoo/FreeBSD installation guide here: http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/gentoo-freebsd.xml What's your reasoning for this replacement guide? Why can't we just add a few updates for the existing guide, which is much more complete?

Also, your version *depends* on an overlay (a personal developer overlay, at that), while the existing guide doesn't require that users go to such extreme measures to install Gentoo.
sorry for the overlay, this will be fixed when g/fbsd 7.0 will enter in portage [now there's a open bug that don't allow this operation]. And sorry for the bug, I opened it only 'cos I tought that there'd be two different guides (because users can select between 6.2 and 7.0). Thanks for your clarification. For me you can close the bug if you want. Cheers dav
If you want, you can reopen later once 7.0 hits Portage, but I had just assumed we would only document the latest and greatest FreeBSD releases -- once 7 is around, the doc would reflect this. I hadn't seen any need to keep separate documents for 6 and 7.
As ZFS support comes with FBSD 7, it would be nice if guide covered it too, I guess.
