I'll be mentoring Jesus Rivero (neurogeek). He's interested in Python and BSD. He's been helping out with Python packages and will be helping close a lot of bugs in the next 30 days. Quiz looks good. Jesus, please email recruiters@g.o. your first quiz and public key and CC me. Reproducible: Always
knock knock ... any update about this? :-)
(In reply to comment #1) > knock knock ... any update about this? :-) > We need more recruiters. Any way I will take this. Quizzes to recruiters@gentoo.org when approved by your mentor and them ping me on IRC or mail me to schedule the first review session.
cc'ing python, both quizzes reviewed and submitted.
(In reply to comment #3) > cc'ing python, both quizzes reviewed and submitted. > Both quizzes have had a review session and I am now waiting for Jesus to submit revised versions and do an extra assignment.
Hello, Revised versions of both ebuild-quiz and end-quiz and assignment ebuild sent to recruiters@g.o Thank you both Betelgeuse and Pythonhead. Best regards,
Ok should be all done here. What we did: - LDAP - gentoo-core - bugzilla - cvs/svn groups on cvs.gentoo.org - IRC-cloak - announcement - #gentoo-dev channel access - sent you your LDAP/mail password via encrypted mail What you need to do: - subscribe to mailing lists with @gentoo.org address - request forum status bump in #gentoo-forums or by mail to forum-mods@gentoo.org (if you have a forums count) - send yourself mail to create .maildir - add yourself to mail aliases ( like java@gentoo.org ) see /var/mail/alias on dev.gentoo.org - ask team leads to add yourself to herds.xml for the herds you want to join or do it yourself if you have the permission to do so - set lat and lon attributes in LDAP if you want others to know where exactly you are located - set gentooIM if you want people to be able to contact you via other means than email For the mentor: - You are also responsible for the commits of your recruit during the first month so you should watch the commits of your recruit via gentoo-commits mailing list.
Reopening as Jesus has been inactive for more than 2 months. - Last (viewable) bugzilla activity: 326867: 2010-08-29 03:04:28 - Last CVS activity: 2010-08-29T03:03Z First email sent today.
