This is the pppoa driver for the speedtouch USB ADSL modem. Quite a lot of ppl on the mail list have tried to get this working for gentoo, especially for the net install(bootstrap). This ebuild is only ment as a prompt, although it works fine, as it needs a init.d script

j2ee, just confirm for me that this doesn't affect the existing rp-pppoe or pppoe packages, and that the kernel module is installed based on the gentoo KV environment variable and I'll get it in portage soon.
- net-dialup/speedtouch is already in the portage tree. (masked) - yeah, it doesn't affect rp-pppoe and pppoe. - what kernel module do you mean ?
meh, someone already did it, reopen this bug if the version in portage sucks too much.
